The third stream of certification is called the High Performance 1, formerly known as Advanced Level. This course is designed for coaches working with players at the competitive level.
High Performance 1 Level certification is acquired by successfully completing a 30 hour course, as well as an assessment workbook/exam, and a field evaluation. Once completed the coach's certification is updated to Technical 3, Practical 3, and Theory 2.
Practical experience at an elite level is a necessary requirement for the High Performance 1 Level.
(Midget AAA, Jr.B, Jr.A, Sr.AAA, Major Junior, NCAA or CIS, Provincial/Regional/National teams, Professional)
