The Female Hockey Festival is an event focused on creating a positive hockey experience for females in Manitoba. Development opportunities are provided for Players, Coaches, and Officials in a fun and interactive environment. All of the listed events are free of charge courtesy of Hockey Manitoba!
Hockey Manitoba is also excited to announce that in addition to trained Hockey Manitoba instructors, Trina Radcliffe, Hockey Canada's Manager of Female Development will assist in the various Female Hockey Festival events in both Winnipeg and Brandon. Additional on ice help will include female players from various programs in Manitoba.
Delaney Collins (Pilot Mound, MB) - Past World Champion will be in attendace on Sunday, February 20th in Winnipeg. Sami Jo Small (Winnipeg, MB) - Past Olympic & World Champion will be in attendance on Monday, February 21st in Brandon. Both ladies will participate with on-ice sessions and will be available to sign autographs at the event!

Please note that registration is closed for the Skills Camp and Esso Fun Day Events. Skills Camp participants were randomly selected (as there was a specific number of spots available) and notified on February 4th via email. Esso Fun Day participants were also notified on February 4th. The "We Are Coaches" Female Coach Clinic and Female Officials Seminar remain open for registration until February 15th.

Female Recruitment - Esso Fun Day (REGISTRATION CLOSED - EVENT FULL)
This event is a hockey development initiatve established to help youth get into the sport of hockey in a low pressure atmosphere. The Recruitment Day consists of on-ice and off-ice sessions that introduce youth to the basic fundamentals of hockey in a fun and safe environment, FREE of charge! This event is only open to girls who are not currently registered within hockey. All participants receive some equipment, lunch, a jersey and 2 Manitoba Moose tickets!

Female Skills Camps (REGISTRATION CLOSED - EVENT FULL)
These are FREE one-day camps that focus primarily on fundamental skill development and a fun exhibition game. The players attending the camp will participate in 2 on-ice sessions with expert instruction providing an opportunity to enhance their hockey skills. Participants also have instruction on fair play, respect, training, and teamwork in a classroom setting. All participants receive lunch, a jersey and 2 Manitoba Moose tickets!

Female Coach Certification Clinic - "We Are Coaches"
Open to all females who would like to get certified and interact with other women in hockey. This clinic is intended for all hockey backgrounds; whether current players, former players or hockey moms we encourage you to take part in this (FREE) special event. All attendees will be fully credited with the Coach Level certification. All participants receive lunch and 2 Manitoba Moose tickets!

Female Officials Seminar
This event will be a development opportunity for female officials in our province. Each official will participate in classroom presentations and discussions designed to develop their knowledge and understanding as an official. Two of Hockey Manitoba's elite female officials (Christine Durham, Sabrina Lauzon) will be in attendance to work with the participants. Remember, all participants also receive dinner and 2 Manitoba Moose tickets at no cost!

All Female Hockey Festival participants each receive 2 Manitoba Moose tickets FREE courtesy of Hockey Manitoba. All Skills Camp and Esso Fun Day participants will also receive a Moose toque, Moose activity book, a FREE Boston Pizza Kids Meal voucher, and a FREE Skate sharpening voucher.
Winnipeg participants will receive tickets to the Saturday, February 19th Moose game which is "Minor Hockey Night." Brandon Festival participants will have a choice for either February 19th or *March 19th Moose tickets. Full ticket information will be provided after February 4th when Festival participants are confirmed.
