WINNIPEG, MB- A total of sixty-eight players (68) 1997 born players have been invited to the Team West Summer Camp held August 7-11, 2013 in Portage la Prairie, MB at the PCU Centre. Each province, Manitoba & Saskatchewan, has thirty-four (34) players invited based on previous performances within their respective U-16 Program of Excellence along with the feedback from the team's head scout based off of the 2012-13 season. Each side will send four (4) goalies, twelve (12) defensemen, and eighteen (18) forwards who will undergo a five-day camp consisting of practices, games, fitness testing and interviews.

WINNIPEG, MB– Hockey Manitoba and Saskatchewan Hockey Association have announced a coaching change for Team West participating in the 2014 World U-17 Hockey Challenge held December 28th – January 5th, 2014 in Cape Breton, NS.
Malcolm Cameron who was originally appointed as Head Coach of Team West back in May was also recently promoted to Head Coach of the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League (WHL). Due to potential scheduling conflicts Cameron has stepped down from Team West and will be replaced by Dan Lambert of the Kelowna Rockets (WHL).

CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League, announced Thursday the 19 goaltenders that will attend the eighth-annual Program of Excellence goaltending camp taking place June 13-16 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
Thirteen goaltenders in the under-20 age category (candidates for Canada’s National Junior Team) and six in the under-18 category (candidates for Canada’s National Men’s Under-18 Team) will get the opportunity to work with a number of instructors during the four-day camp.
