Player extras needed for Gordie Howe movie, "Mr. Hockey"

EXTRAS CASTING CALL FOR LOCAL FILM PRODUCTION!

“Mr. Hockey; The Gordie Howe Story”

Mr. Hockey, a TV drama for CBC, is shooting in and around Winnipeg between August 27th and September 21 2012. MALE Hockey players between 20 and 40 years old in appearance are needed to portray various hockey personalities from the 1970's. No formal acting experience is required to try out just strong hockey skills.

Hockey try outs will be held on

SUNDAY, AUGUST 12th

Canlan Ice Sports Complex (Highlander) 1871 Ellice Ave

Winnipeg, MB

To participate in the hockey try out please email;

· a clear current digital photo(does not need to be professional)

· a maximum 1 page hockey bio of yourself which should include

· your current hockey skill level, height, weight,

· your personal contact info including your phone number & email address

A time commitment from one to several days will be required during our production period, August 27 to September 21. All featured hockey players that are cast will be paid according to union rates (ACTRA); on-camera Special Skilled Extras fees begin at $253.75 per day, not including over-time.

NOTE: After your submission has been received by email, you will be contacted by email and/or phone to schedule your attendance at the hockey try out, Sunday or Monday August 12th/13th.

Please bring full hockey gear and skates.
