Application forms are available for the annual Sport Manitoba “A Night of
Champions” Sport Awards.

Once again in 2006, awards will be presented in seven categories based on
2005 achievements:

Female Youth Athlete of the Year
Male Youth Athlete of the Year
Junior Team of the Year
Great West Life Volunteer of the Year
Great West Life Youth Volunteer of the Year
Official of the Year
Sport Administrator of the Year

Nominations are open but only one nomination per category will be accepted
as endorsed and submitted by the Provincial Sport Organization.

Deadline for nominations is February 15th, 2006.

Nomination forms are available on the Sport Manitoba website –

Winners will be selected by members of Manitoba sports media.

Winners and all nominees will be recognized at “A Night of Champions” awards
ceremony and reception in mid-April. Exact date and location still to be
confirmed.
