The 2010 Stanley Cup Finals will feature the Chicago Blackhawks and the Philadelphia Flyers. Within this match up there will be a Manitoban on each side battling for the chance to bring the Cup back home to our province.

Arron Asham (Portage la Prairie) of the Flyers has been providing solid energy and checking on the 3rd line along with James van Riemsdyk and Claude Giroux. Asham has tallied 3 goals, 2 assists and a +3 rating these playoffs.

The Blackhawks have been getting everything they need from their captain, Jonathan Toews (Winnipeg) as he has been leading his team by example with great 2-way play and on the scoresheet. Toews is currently the NHL’s leading playoff scorer with 26 points (7G,19A) and a strong candidate for the Conn Smythe Trophy if the ‘Hawks go on to win the Cup.
