Winnipeg – The excitement continues to build as the inaugural Hockey Manitoba Cup is now only 21 days away from puck drop, held April 9-11th in Winnipeg. Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce that Molson Canadian will be a Presenting Partner of the 2010 Hockey Manitoba Cup along with Boston Pizza. Molson Canadian will assist Boston Pizza and Hockey Manitoba with operations at the "Hockey Manitoba Cup Team Party Headquarters" and will also donate various championship prizes for the tournament champions of each division.

This will be Hockey Manitoba’s first Adult Rec. Provincial Championship with representation from all corners of the province. The event has been very well received as there are only a limited number of vacant team spots available with 2 weeks to go before the entry deadline. Hockey Manitoba has now finalized the secondary arena locations for the tournament being Gateway Rec. Centre, Dutton Memorial Arena and River Heights Community Centre. Several games throughout the tournament will be played at these secondary locations, meanwhile the primary locationwill be Dakota Community Centre.

Team entry fee is only $499 and all teams are guaranteed 4 games in the tournament, registration deadline is April 1st, 2010.
