WINNIPEG, MB – Hockey Manitoba is excited to announce the rosters for the three Team Manitoba programs (Female U-16, Male U-16, Female U-18) that operate as a part of the Program of Excellence for 2019.
All three Team Manitoba rosters have been selected following the Program of Excellence Top-40 Camps which took place in Portage la Prairie from May 9-14, 2019 where athletes took part in practices, team building activities and inter-squad exhibition games which were evaluated by the program coaching staffs helping lead to the final rosters selections.
The roster for the Male U-16 Team Manitoba consists of 2 goaltenders, 7 defence and 11 forwards. U-16 Team Manitoba will be competing at the WHL Cup which takes place in Calgary, AB in late October. The next step in the U-16 Program of Excellence will be the U-16 August Prep Camp taking place August 9-11, 2019 in Winnipeg, MB. The Male U-16 Team Manitoba roster can be found at the link below:
The roster for the Female U-16 Team Manitoba consists of 2 goaltenders, 6 defence and 12 forwards. The next phase in the Female U-16 Program of Excellence will be the Female U-16 July Prep Camp taking place in Winnipeg July 5-6, 2019. The team will be competing at the Swift Current Wildcats Pre-Season tournament September 6-8, 2019 in Swift Current, SK. The Female U-16 Team Manitoba roster can be found at the link below:
The roster for the U-18 Team Manitoba consists of 2 goaltenders, 6 defence and 12 forwards. The U-18 Team Manitoba will be competing at the 2019 National Women’s U-18 Championship which takes place in Morden, MB from November 3-9, 2019. The next step in the road to Nationals for the U-18 Team Manitoba will be the U-18 July Prep Camp taking place in Morden, MB the weekend of July 5-7, 2019.
