Chris Hall receives the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers

Chris Hall, Chair of Minor Hockey – Winnipeg, is one of 10 Manitobans who has received the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers.

The Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers “recognizes the exceptional volunteer achievements of Canadians from across the country in a wide range of fields and pays tribute to the dedication and commitment of volunteers.”

Chris has served on Hockey Manitoba’s Board of Directors since 2011 and has been a volunteer coach for almost 20 years. Chris has been instrumental in developing, training and guiding young athletes and he has been involved in allocating resources and improving safety standards through his roles as Chair of Minor Hockey – Winnipeg and President of Hockey Winnipeg.

Chris is a dedicated volunteer who has earned the respect of his peers and colleagues for his leadership and commitment to the game.

Hockey Manitoba congratulates Chris on this well-deserved honour.
