WINNIPEG, MB- The Parkland Jr. Rangers and the Winnipeg Monarchs will meet in a best-of-three series held March 21-23 to determine the 2014 Male Bantam AAA Provincial Champion.  The series will be hosted in Winnipeg at the MTS Iceplex with the winner advancing to the 2014 Western Canada Bantam Championship, April 3-6 in Kelowna, BC.

Series schedule;

1. Fri, Mar 21 – 7:00 PM, MTS Iceplex – WFP Rink
2. Sat, Mar 22 – 4:30 PM, MTS Iceplex – WFP Rink
3. Sun, Mar 23 – 3:40 PM, MTS Iceplex – WFP Rink (If necessary)

Last weekend in Portage la Prairie, Parkland defeated the Eastman Selects in the gold medal final to win the Male Rural Bantam AAA Provincials and earn a spot in the Provincial Finals.  The Winnipeg Monarchs rolled through the Hockey Winnipeg Bantam 1 AAA playoffs undefeated (8-0) to cap off a highly successful regular season with a record of 31-1-0.
