WINNIPEG, MB – Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Horton as Manager, Operations and Lauren Osborne as Coordinator, Registration & Support Services effective October 2, 2019.
Jessica Horton joins Hockey Manitoba after spending the last four and a half years working for True North Sports & Entertainment as an Event and Marketing Coordinator for Bell MTS Iceplex and as a Sales Representative for the Manitoba Moose Hockey Club. Jessica has been involved with the game of hockey for most of her life. Jessica played CIS Hockey at the University of Prince Edward Island for two years and then came back home to play for the University of Manitoba Bisons for two years. Jessica is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business, having obtained a Commerce degree in Marketing and Leadership. Jessica actively plays and coaches hockey and also volunteers her time with the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy. In her new role, Jessica will lead effective operations in the areas of Business Development, Finance & Administration, Marketing and Events & Properties. Lauren Osborne joins Hockey Manitoba as Coordinator, Registration and Support Services after spending the last six years working for a local financial institution. Lauren has been playing hockey since the age of five years old and currently coaches a team in the Manitoba Women’s Junior League (MWJL). Lauren played in the MWJL for the Polar Ice and prior to that played for the Shaftesbury Titans in the Winnipeg High School Hockey League. As Coordinator, Registration and Support Services, Lauren will be responsible for effectively delivering and advancing all aspects of membership registration and administration involving 8 of the 10 Hockey Manitoba regions which include Central Plains, Eastman, Interlake, Pembina Valley, Westman South, Yellowhead, Parkland and Norman.
