Manitoba Coaches Day at MTS Centre a big success!

Manitoba Coaches Day hosted by Hockey Manitoba and the Manitoba Moose wraps up as a big success.

The participants were selected through a contest draw that ran from December 4th to 22nd on the Hockey Manitoba website. The contest showed great interest as hundreds of entries were submitted from all corners of the province. Fifteen lucky coaches were drawn to participate in a day of coach development activities involving the Hockey Manitoba Coach Mentorship Program and the Manitoba Moose coaching staff.

Later in the afternoon the fifteen participants took part in a Coach Specialty Clinic also at MTS Centre. The clinicinvolved both classroom and on-ice sessions pertaining to Puck Control which is hosted by the Hockey Manitoba Coach Mentorship Program. Hockey Manitoba will also provided the participants lunch anda pair of Moose tickets for Saturday, January 10th versus the Hershey Bears.
