MARTIN TO REPRESENT MANITOBA AT WOMEN’S U18 CHAMPIONSHIP

WINNIPEG, MB –  One (1) official has been chosen to represent Manitoba at the 2017 National Women’s Under-18 Championship taking place in Quebec City, QC from November 1-5, 2017. The Women’s Under-18 Championship is an eight (8) team round-robin national tournament that includes provincial and regional teams from Alberta, Atlantic, British Columbia, Ontario Blue, Ontario Red, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Selected to attend the 2017 National Women’s Under-18 Championship:

Amy Martin (Linesman), Stonewall – A level IV official, Amy has experience lining the 2015 & 2016 Female World Sport School Challenge Gold Medal game and numerous finals including Male Bantam AAA, Male City Midget AAA & Manitoba Women’s Junior Hockey League.  She has also lined for Female U18 POE games, Midget & Bantam AAA Female Showcases and Director’s Cup.  This will be Amy’s second consecutive year lining the Women’s U-18 Championship tournament as she attended last year’s event in Regina, SK.
