MARTIN TO REPRESENT MANITOBA IN REGINA, SK

WINNIPEG, MB – Amy Martin will be representing Manitoba at the upcoming Women’s U-18 Championship being held in Regina, SK from November 9-13, 2016.  The 2016 Women’s U-18 Championship includes eight (8) provincial and regional teams, including Alberta, Atlantic, British Columbia, Ontario Blue, Ontario Red, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Manitoba who won silver at last years event in Huntsville, ON.

f-amymartin2016Amy Martin (Linesman), Stonewall – A level IV official, Amy is in her 9th year of officiating and has experience lining the 2015 & 2016 Female World Sport School Challenge Gold Medal game and numerous finals including Male Bantam AAA, Male City Midget AAA & Manitoba Women’s Junior Hockey League.  Amy has received many awards for officiating which include the 2014 Most Improved Offical Award for the Interlake Region, the 2015 Most Promising Official Award for Manitoba and was the recipient of the Kenneth R. Stiles Memorial Scholarship in 2014 & 2016.
