‘RELAX, IT’S JUST A GAME’: AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR ADULTS
Hockey Canada and USA Hockey partner to harness adult pressures in youth
sports by launching a new series of Public Service Announcements

WHAT & WHY:
Hockey Canada and USA Hockey, the two national governing bodies for the
sport in Canada and the United States, have partnered to launch a North
American campaign through a series of integrated public service
announcements (PSAs). Developed in association with Palmer Jarvis DDB
(PJDDB), the public service campaign is designed to raise awareness about
the continual challenge posed by parents, coaches and fans, who may put too
much pressure on young players and officials involved in amateur hockey and
other sports. Simultaneous news conferences will take place in Toronto and
New York on November 13, 2003:
