Nominate a local volunteer for Kraft Hockey Goes On

by Hockey Manitoba  |  February 1, 2013 1:54 pm

Kraft Hockey Goes On will be awarding $1 million to Hockey Canada affiliated minor hockey associations coast to coast to ensure that Hockey Goes On! Nominate local hockey volunteers in your community by going to KraftHockeyGoesOn.ca to submit your nominations.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Nominations

It’s simple. Nominate someone who you feel dedicates their time and effort to ensure hockey goes on within your community. In a minimum of 250 characters and a maximum of 2,000 characters, tell us how this person has made a difference in your hockey community and how they inspire others to give back. Be sure to include the name of the Hockey Canada-affiliated Minor Hockey Association the Nominee would like the prize money to go to.

2. Selecting Finalists

All eligible entries will be evaluated by a judging panel. The Top 100 finalists that have the most compelling story or submission entered will be announced here on the Contest website on March 16th and will move on to the Voting phase.

3. Voting

That’s where the fun starts. Beginning at 9:00am (ET), from March 23-24, grab your friends, rally the community, and start voting to help make a hockey dream in the finalist’s community come true!

4. Winners Announced

The top 5 Grand Prize winning Nominees will be announced April 2nd. Each Grand Prize winning Nominee will win $100,000 for their selected Minor Hockey Association. A total of 20 Second Prize winning Nominees will also win $20,000 to be awarded to their selected Minor Hockey Association. Imagine how much hockey equipment, ice time, tournaments and upgrades your Minor Hockey Association can get with that!
