Registration now open for the 2011 Female Hockey Festival – Feb 20 & 21

The Female Hockey Festival is an event focused on creating a positive hockey experience for females in Manitoba. Development opportunities are provided for Players, Coaches, and Officials in a fun and interactive environment. All of the listed events are free of charge courtesy of Hockey Manitoba!

Hockey Manitoba is also excited to announce that in addition to trained Hockey Manitoba instructors, a number of special guests will take part in the various Female Hockey Festival events in Winnipeg and Brandon including past or present members of:

University of Manitoba Bisons Women's Hockey
Female U-18 Team Manitoba
Female U-18 & U-22 Team Canada
Female Midget AA teams
Manitoba Women's Junior Hockey League

Delaney Collins (Pilot Mound, MB) – Past World Champion will be in attendace on Sunday, February 20th in Winnipeg. Sami Jo Small (Winnipeg, MB) – Past Olympic & World Champion will be in attendance on Monday, February 21st in Brandon. Both ladies will participate with on-ice sessions and will be available to sign autographs at the event!

Other benefits including Manitoba Moose tickets, lunch, jerseys and other off-ice activities are provided to participants at absolutely NO COST!
