ROELAND TO JOIN OFFICIATING TEAM FOR WORLD U17 CHALLENGE

WINNIPEG, MB –  One (1) official has been selected to represent Manitoba at the 2017 World Under 17 Challenge taking place in Dawson Creek & Fort St. John, BC from November 5-11, 2017. The World Under 17 Challenge is an eight (8) team round-robin tournament featuring top prospects born in 2001 with teams from the United States, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Czech Republic and three (3) teams from Canada (White, Red & Black).

Selected to attend the 2017 World Under 17 Challenge:

Brett Roeland (Referee), Winnipeg – Brett is a Level V official and has experience refereeing and lining in the Midget AAA League, MMJHL, KJHL, MJHL and the SEMHL.  In 2015, he was selected to attend the Officiating Program of Excellence (OPOE) West Regional Camp in British Columbia.  More recently, Brett was selected as one of the officials for the Junior B Keystone Cup Championship held in Arborg, MB in April 2017.
