TEAM MB WOMEN’S U-18 SUPPORT STAFF POSITION AVAILABLE

Hockey Manitoba is now accepting Equipment Manager applications from individuals interested in working with the 2007 Team Manitoba Women’s Under – 18 team that will be competing at the National Women’s Under – 18 Championships in Kitchener, Ontario. This is a volunteer position. All travel, meal, accommodation and miscellaneous expenses are covered by Hockey Manitoba.

The Team Manitoba schedule is as follows:

Team Practice Winnipeg, MB October 19 – 21, 2007

National Women’s Under – 18 Kitchener, ON November 7 – 11, 2007

Please note that dates listed do not include potential travel dates. The planned departure date for the National Women’s Under – 18 Championships is November 5th while the return date is November 12th.

Ideal candidates should possess the following traits:

o Ability and experience with skate sharpening

o Experience as an equipment manager and/or trainer

o A background with the sport of hockey

o Experience working with youth or junior aged athletes

All successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal record check. Please note that there will be no interview process and the successful applicants will be selected from the resumes submitted.
