Vigier takes home Silver from Spengler Cup

J.P. Vigier, former Hockey Manitoba member from Notre Dame de Lourdes, will take home a silver medal from the 2008 Spengler Cup as Team Canada was downed by Dynamo Moscow (Russia) 5-3 in the final.

Vigier finished his MJHL career with the Portage Terriers before moving onto Northern Michigan University (NCAA). After university J.P. spent eight years in the Atlanta Thrashers (NHL) system, logging 213 NHL games and 282 AHL-IHL games during that time. Vigier is now a member of Servette Geneve (Geneva) of the Swiss-A league.
