September 28, 2020

Effective Monday September 28, 2020, players, coaches, staff, volunteers, spectators, and officials will be required to wear face masks in facilities where Hockey Manitoba-sanctioned activities take place.

Players and officials are not required to wear face masks while on the ice engaging in physical activity but are required to wear masks in the dressing room prior to going on the ice.  Team officials, including coaches, are required to wear face masks while on the bench.

Masks will also be mandatory for all facilitators and participants attending in-person coaching and officiating clinics across the province.

The major updates included in Version 2 of the RTP plan are summarized on page 5 of the Hockey Manitoba Return to Play plan – Version 2.
