Hockey Manitoba is pleased to open registration for the organization’s 100th Anniversary Golf Tournament to be held August 12, 2014 at Southwood Golf & Country Club. Hockey Manitoba’s 100th Anniversary Golf Tournament will be the official tee-off to a season-long celebration of 100 years as an organization.
With a similar approach as the Hockey Manitoba Cup – Adult Provincials, plans for the golf tournament are to deliver a memorable experience for participants both on the course and throughout our 100th season. Registration will include special edition Reebok golf shirts and hats featuring the commemorative Hockey Manitoba 100th Anniversary logo. Registration will also include green fee, cart fee, lunch, dinner, driving range, VIP cards redeemable for two complimentary beverages, yardage booklet, and a souvenir tournament program.
The tournament will host a Texas scramble format with registration opening at 11:00 a.m., lunch served between 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The tournament is set to host numerous interactive contests and promotions at the tee boxes throughout the day. After 18 holes, participants will enjoy the Post-Game Party. At the Celebrity Draft prior to tee-off, participants will have opportunity to bid on the chance to golf with celebrity golfers who will be announced at a later date.
Online registration has opened here with the entry fee set at $250 per golfer. There is an optional $50 deposit for registering players who wish to hold their spot in the tournament with the full balance due at a later date. Registration will also provide an option to book between one and four spots during a single page visit, while only requiring the primary contact name at registration with the additional party names to be added at a later date.
As with many Hockey Manitoba events, registration is anticipated to fill quickly so interested individuals are encouraged to register soon. Information regarding tournament sponsor packages can be found online at www.hockeymanitoba.ca/100/golf-tournament.
