2011 Hockey Manitoba Cup filling up quick; enter your team soon!

Winnipeg, MB – After a successful 2010 event, the Hockey Manitoba Cup will expand in 2011 with seven different Adult Rec divisions. This year's provincials will feature fouropen Men's divisions (1,2,3,4), as well as a Men's 40+ division, Men's 50+ division, and an open Women's division. The Hockey Manitoba Cup will take place April 21-23, 2011 in Winnipeg at the MTS Iceplex. Registration for the event has been consistentso far and it is anticipated to reach the 50 team capacity before the registration deadline of April 8, 2011.

Hockey Manitobais diligently working on presenting a specialteam experience unlike any otheradult hockey tournament offered in Canada.Items such as souvenir programs for all participants,player entry gifts for all participants, in-game music, public address announcements,low entry fees, and special promotionsduring the event are just a few of the manyperks HockeyManitoba is offering. As in 2010, teams will once again travel from all corners of the province to participate in the Hockey Manitoba Cup as there are currently teams registered from as far as Churchill, Flin Flon, and Souris. The Hockey Manitoba Cup will once again feature a great mix of Winnipeg and rural teams playing under one roof.

With just over 40 days until puck drop teams are urged to reserve their spot in the 2011 Hockey Manitoba Cup by submitting their registration form along with a $100 deposit.
