Ashley Dejardins & Meagan Smith to officiate at Canada Winter Games

| Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce that two officals have been selected to officate at the 2011 Canada Winter Games for Women's Hockey. Ashley Dejardins (Winnipeg) and Meagan Smith (Clanwilliam) have been appointed by Hockey Canada to take part in this prestiges national event in Halifax, NS from February 20-27th.
Ashley Dejardins:
- Winnipeg, MB
- Transcona Minor Hockey Association
- 24 years old, has been reffing for 9 seasons
- Currently Officiates: CIS, MWJHL, JWHL, Hockey Winnipeg
- Nationals Officated: 2007 CWG, 2007 National U-18's, 2010 Esso Cup
Meagan Smith:
- Clanwilliam, MB
- Minnedosa Minor Hockey Association
- 21 years old, has been reffing for 7 seasons
- Currently Officiates: CIS, MWJHL, JWHL, MFMHL,High School (Male), Westman Midget (Male)
- University of Manitoba student, Faculty of Education with Phys. Ed degree
