Coordinator, Communications & Coordinator, Grow The Game appointed
WINNIPEG, MB – Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce the appointment of Ezra Ginsburg as Coordinator, Communications and Saxon Miller as Coordinator, Grow the Game effective August 8, 2019.
Ezra is a born and raised Winnipegger and joins Hockey Manitoba after spending the last eight years working for Cushman & Wakefield- Stevenson, a local commercial real estate firm. Ezra is a familiar name to hockey fans in Winnipeg and throughout Manitoba as a co-host of The Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN 1290 Radio and a contributor to the station’s Winnipeg Jets pre and post game coverage. Ezra has extensive experience in communications and marketing, and has previously held positions with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and University of Manitoba Bisons Sports. Ezra will be responsible for leading day-to-day communications of all branch programs, events and initiatives through website/online digital content, social media platforms and direct communication to membership. Saxon, a lifelong Winnipegger, joins Hockey Manitoba as Coordinator, Grow The Game after recently earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Winnipeg. Saxon has played hockey since the age of five, and has been involved with sport in his community for the majority of his life whether it be playing, coaching or following the game. Saxon’s grandfather is Tom Miller, who is the co-founder of the St.James Canucks of the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League. Saxon is passionate about the importance of inclusion in sport and recreation and is enthusiastic about growing the game in the province. Saxon will coordinate day-to-day initiatives, programs and events related to growing the game of hockey and promoting grassroots hockey development in Manitoba.
