WINNIPEG, MB – Despite troubling weather around the province, the first weekend of the Hockey Manitoba Provincials presented by Cargill Ltd has wrapped up successfully. From Altona to Flin Flon, in all sixteen provincial championship tournaments were hosted March 2-4 culminating with the crowning of sixteen champions on Sunday:

The 2012 Hockey Manitoba Provincials presented by Cargill Ltd will continue this upcoming weekend with another fourteen minor hockey championship tournaments taking place throughout the province. The Senior AAA provincial championship series also gets underway this week featuring the Manitoba Lightning and the Southeast Prairie Thunder.
