FIFTY-ONE MANITOBANS ON WHL OPENING WEEK ROSTERS

Hockey Manitoba is pleased to recognize fifty-one (51) Manitobans listed on 2014 opening week rosters in the Western Hockey League. Names include seven (7) players from the 2013 U-16 Team Manitoba roster and a total of thirty-three (35) players who have worn the Team Manitoba jersey. The Brandon Wheat Kings lead the way with eleven (11) Manitobans on their roster follwed by the Moose Jaw Warriors with five (5), along with the Regina Pat, Calgary Hitmen, and Saskatoon Blades each with four (4) players.
