by Hockey Manitoba  |  August 6, 2014 3:18 pm

Winnipeg, MB- Hockey Manitoba is pleased to host a special skills testing combine and camp for Major Bantam (2000 born) players in partnership with the Western Hockey League (WHL).  The WHL Skills Combine presented by Hockey Manitoba will take place August 15-17 in Winnipeg at MTS Iceplex.

One-hundred and twenty (120) male players have been invited from the 2014 Hockey Manitoba Director’s Cup Prospects program this past spring to attend the upcoming camp.  Attending players will participate in both skills sessions and games on Friday & Sunday of the camp.  Saturday will feature skills testing sessions, on and off the ice, delivered by the Western Hockey League and Okanagan Hockey Academy.  All testing is conducted using equipment and software developed by Sport Testing Inc which allows each player to instantly have their testing results uploaded into an online WHL scouting database.
