Hockey Manitoba is please to introduce a fresh initiative for skill and athlete development in our province. In parternship with Reebok Hockey we will provide a variety of development options for young players looking to take their skills and knowledge of the game to the next level.

The program will kick-off with the High Performance Spring Skills Series which is open for 1997 and 1998 male players. The series will feature weekly development sessions from April 5 – May 31, 2011. All sessions will take place at Dakota Community Centre in Winnipeg. The program will heavily focus on skill development with a newtopic each week. Current or former coaches from the Hockey Manitoba Program of Excellence will instruct each week, along with other elite coaches and players from our province.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, March 25, 2011.

Hockey is also working to introcude a goaltender development program and possibly Summer Skills Camps for late summer 2011.
