WINNIPEG, MB – Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce that Danielle McGurry has been selected to attend the 2015 World Universiade Games held in Granada, Spain from February 4 – 14, 2015. The Winter Universiade is an international sporting and cultural festival which is staged every two years in a different city. It is only second to the Olympic Games.

McGurry (Winnipeg), is a Level IV official. She officiates all levels of women’s hockey, including CIS, JWHL, MWJHL, and MAAA, both as a referee and a linesman. She also lines MAAA and refs and lines BAAA boys hockey.

In March 2014, she officiated at the World Women’s Division II qualifying tournament in Mexico City and most recently in November 2014 attended the 2014 World Women’s Qualification Series held in Yokohama, Japan.
