This year Phil was instrumental in bringing a CIS exhibition series to Dauphin between the U of M Bisons and the U of R Cougars. It was part of the development weekend and he was able to have the coaches and players from each team go on the ice with Parkland female players. It was a great success and Parkland is fortunate to have the zeal that Phil has in the development of female hockey in the region.
Hockey Manitoba congratulates Phil Fafard as the October 2011 Volunteer of the Month.
The Volunteer of the Month award is presented by Awards & More, official partner of Hockey Manitoba.
