Hockey Manitoba is please to offer a part-time term position as the Assistant Clinic Coordinator. This position is perfect for university students and others alike looking for a part-time position in the fall/winter. Please read below for details.
POSITION: Assistant Clinic Coordinator
START DATE: Tuesday, September 1, 2009
STATUS: Part-time
TERM: September to December 2009, possibility of extended term into January 2010
HOURS: Appx. 20-24 hours per week, 4-5 days per week (weekdays)
Daily work schedule flexible to applicant’s availability between 8:30AM-5:00PM
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Hockey Development Coordinator, the Assistant Clinic Coordinator will:
- Assist Hockey Manitoba staff in the delivery of all coaching and officiating clinics
- Pack clinic manuals, videos, and paperwork and ship packages to clinics throughout Manitoba
- Organize and inventory all clinic materials within Hockey Manitoba office
- Input returned information forms into the Hockey Manitoba/Hockey Canada database
- Email correspondence, must also have knowledge working with MS Office programs
- Organize camp materials and equipment for pick-up or shipping
- Assist with hockey registration packages and mailing
- General administrative assistance as needed
- Other office duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- The potential candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills
- Must possess a strong work ethic and show initiative
- Ability to perform and complete multiple tasks each day
- A background in the sport of hockey as either a player, official or coach as well as knowledge and experience with Hockey Manitoba programs would be considered an asset
- Some heavy lifting is required
