PELUK TO OFFICIATE AT NATIONAL CIS MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
WINNIPEG, MB – Trevor Peluk of Winnipeg has been selected as a referee to the 2016 CIS University Cup Men’s Hockey Championship.
This year the CIS University Cup Men’s Hockey Championship will take place in Halifax, N.S. from March 17-20. The eight teams participating for the National Championship include 2 CanadaWest teams: Saskatchewan Huskies (2016 CanadaWest Champion) and Alberta Golden Bears who have won back to back National Championships in 2014 and 2015.
Trevor Peluk (Referee), Winnipeg – A level VI official, Trevor has experience refereeing in the KJHL, MMJHL, MJHL, CIS, and WHL. Trevor has been an official since 1999 and has accumulated numerous accomplishments, such as, attending the Official Program of Excellence in 2010-2011, officiating the 2013 Keystone Cup championship Game, the World U-17 Challenge in 2013, officiating at the Western Canada Cup in 2014 and most recently officiating at the World Junior A Challenge in 2015.
