Calgary, Alta. – The Western Hockey League announced today that Red Deer Rebels goaltender Riley Lamb has been named WHL Goaltender of the Week and league nominee for the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending February 18, 2018.

Two days later in the Okanagan, Lamb stopped 36 of 37 shots in a 4-1 win against the B.C. Division-leading Kelowna Rockets. He was named the first star of the game and the third star of the night in the WHL.

Lamb continued his impressive streak with a 33-save performance in a 4-3 win against the Victoria Royals Friday, earning him second star honours for the game. His strong week came to a close Saturday at the Langley Events Centre as the Rebels doubled up the Vancouver Giants by a 4-2 score, Lamb making 39 saves in the contest.
