Roeland & Krieger to attend Level Vi Seminar

WINNIPEG – Two Manitobans have been selected to attend the Hockey Canada National Level VI Seminar that will take place in Moncton, New Brunswick from November 22-26, 2017. The purpose of this seminar is to provide elite Level V officials with the newest information, techniques & procedures available to elite officials while they compare their skills with both elite Canadian & International officials. They will also receive instruction from the Hockey Canada Officiating Program’s top instructors & guest presenters as well as receive game supervision from National Supervisors.

Selected to attend the Hockey Canada National Level VI Seminar:

Brett Roeland (Referee), Winnipeg – Brett is a Level V official and has experience officiating in the Midget AAA League, MMJHL, KJHL, MJHL, SEMHL and the WHL .  In 2015, he was selected to attend the Officiating Program of Excellence (OPOE) West Regional Camp in BC.  More recently, Brett was selected as one of the officials for the Junior B Keystone Cup Championship held in Arborg, MB in April 2017. He was also selected to represent Manitoba as an official at the World Under 17 Challenge that took place in Dawson Creek & Fort St. John, BC earlier this year.

 

Karlin Krieger (Referee), Wasagaming- Karlin is a Level V official and has experience officiating in the Midget AAA League, KJHL, MJHL, USPORTS and the WHL.  In 2015, he was selected to attend the Officiating Program of Excellence (OPOE) West Regional Camp and the World Under 17 Challenge that took place in Dawson Creek & Fort St. John, BC.  Karlin was also selected as one of the officials for the 2016 Western Canada Cup that took place in Calgary, AB.
