SEVENTY-SIX MANITOBANS ON WHL OPENING WEEK ROSTERS

Hockey Manitoba is pleased to recognize seventy-six (76) Manitobans listed on 2016 opening week rosters in the Western Hockey League. Names include nine (9) players from the U-16 Team Manitoba roster that won silver in Calgary, AB at the 2015 Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup . The Brandon Wheat Kings lead the way with fourteen(14) Manitobans on their roster followed by the Everett Silvertips and Regina Pats with eight (8) a piece, along with the Moose Jaw Warriors and Swift Current Broncos each with five (5) players.
