Winnipeg – Hockey Manitoba is pleased to release the specific team rosters for upcoming Program of Excellence (P.O.E.) Summer Evaluation Camp. Rosters have been determined within all three age programs (U-18 Female, U-17 Male, U-16 Male), with two teams per age program. The P.O.E. Summer Camp will feature 120 of Manitoba’s finest athletes showcasing their talents in effort to advance to the next stage in their respectiveprograms.

The U-18 Female program will feature Team Grey and Team Gold and are vying for the chance to represent Team Manitoba at the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax. The U-17 Male program will see Team Red and Team White in which players are competing for a spot on the 2011 Team West roster. Last but not least, the U-16 male program will see Team Black and Team White battling for a chance to make Team Manitoba and represent our province at the 2011 Canada Winter Games.

Hockey Manitoba would like to take the time to congratulate P.O.E. graduate Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks on winning the 2010 Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe Trophy. Hockey Manitoba would also like to recognize fellow Manitoba Arron Asham of the Philadelphia Flyers for a great playoff run. Both players are great ambassadors of hockey in Manitoba and we thank them for representing our province well.
