Hockey Manitoba is proud to announce U-16 Team Manitoba and U-18 Team Manitoba rosters. After a seven month long process of the Program of Excellence (POE), the selection and development process for Team Manitoba, the final twenty players for each roster have been identified.

The U-16 roster includes twenty (20) names with two (2) goaltenders, six (6) defensemen , and twelve (12) forwards. The final roster includes 2015 WHL Bantam Draft first round picks; Jett Woo (4th, Moose Jaw Warriors), Koby Morrisseau (9th, Spokane Chiefs), Riley Stotts (10th, Swift Current Broncos), Dawson Barteaux (14th, Regina Pats) and Caiden Daley (22nd, Brandon Wheat Kings).

U-16 Team Manitoba will compete at the 2015 Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup held October 27 – November 1,2015 in Calgary, AB. The Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup is a four team round-robin tournament and skills combine with Alberta, BC, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan serving as a major showcase for top WHL prospects and the Hockey Canada U-17 Program of Excellence.

The U-18 roster includes a total of twenty (20) names with two (2) goaltenders, six (6) defensemen, and twelve (12) forwards. The roster also includes U-18 Team Canada players such as Jalyn Elmes (Yellowhead Chiefs, Brandon, MB), Kayla Friesen (St. Mary’s Academy, Winnipeg, MB), and Ryleigh Houston (Balmoral Hall School, Winnipeg, MB).

U-18 Team Manitoba who will be competing at the U-18 National Championships November 4-8 in Huntsville Ontario. This tournament includes eight (8) provincial and regional teams, including Alberta, Atlantic, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario Blue, Ontario Red, Quebec and Saskatchewan.
