U-18 POE Fall Camp roster announced; 25 players remain
WINNIPEG, MB – Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce the U-18 Program of Excellence (POE) Fall Camp roster with the final twenty-five players competing for a spot on Team Manitoba this November. U-18 Team Manitoba will go on to compete at the National U-18 Women's Championships hosted by Hockey Canada in Saguenay, PQ, November 2-6, 2011. The twenty-five players named will attend the U-18 Fall Camp taking place September 30th – October 2nd in Winnipeg which will include a 3-game exhibition series versus the University of Manitoba Bisons Women's team.

The U-18 Fall Camp roster features three players who were recently invited to the National U-18 Women's Team selection camp in August; Ashleigh Brykaliuk (Brandon), Meghan Dufault (Winnipeg), and Halli Krzyzaniak (Neepawa) were also members of U-18 Team Manitoba last season and competed at the 2011 Canada Winter Games. Overall the U-18 Fall Camp roster consists of three goaltenders, seven defence, and fifteen forwards which were chosen from the POE TOP-40 Camp at the end of May. The final Team Manitoba roster will have twenty players named in early October, immediately following the Fall Camp & exhibition series.
