The Western Canadian Shield Female Hockey Championships were held in Dauphin, Manitoba this past weekend and all reports of the event have been extremely positive. Congratulations to all participants, coaches and officials who took part in the tournament.

Dauphin and its surrounding area proved to be gracious hosts and Hockey Manitoba would like to thank all of the volunteers for their hard work and dedication.

The quality of hockey was excellent and Manitoba teams proved to be force throughout the championship bringing home three medals! Special congratulations to our Manitoba participants who represented our branch with dignity.

Silver – Winnipeg Devils
Bronze – Prairie Ice

 

Senior B

Gold – Grand Prairie Panthers
Silver – Winnipeg Aces
Bronze – Saskatchewan

 

Midget

Gold – Notre Dame Hounds
Silver – Calgary PSA Rough Riders
Bronze – Parkland Panthers
4th Place – River East
