ALL requirements for Level IV Officials are as state below:
- must be at least 18 years of age as of December 31st of the current year
- must have been fully certified and officiate a minimum of one year at Level III
- advancement to Level IV will be through invitation by Hockey Manitoba
- advancing Level III to Level IV officials will be required to attend a Hockey Manitoba High Performance Seminar
- current Level IV officials, not involved in the High Performance Program, may recertify at a Level III clinic in years when there is no Level IV-V-VI recertification clinic
- must successfully complete the Hockey Canada fitness test and skating test
- must pass an on-ice assessment during a game of the caliber appropriate to Level IV performed by a Branch-appointed supervisor
- must achieve 80% on the national SRD exam
