Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce that Christine Durham (Winnipeg) & Danielle McGurry (Winnipeg) have been selected by Hockey Canada to officiate at the 2013 National Women’s U-18 Championship in Calgary, AB.

Durham has been selected as a referee with McGurry to attend as a linesman for the tournament, which runs from November 6-10.  Christine is a level 4 officials, currently reffing CIS, MWJHL, MFMHL, also working in male Midget AAA and male Bantam AAA games.  Danielle is also a level 4 official, currently reffing and lining CIS, MWJHL, MFMHL, along with working both male Midget AAA and Bantam AAA games.

The National U-18 tournament features the best Under-18 female players in Canada which serves as a final evlauation for the 2014 National Women’s U-18 Team before naming there roster to compete at the IIHF World Women’s U-18 Championships and future Team Canada development rosters.
