3 officials to represent Manitoba at World Under-17 Hockey Challenge

Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce that three Manitoban officials have been selected to work at the 2011 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. Kelsey Mahoney (West St. Paul), Bryden Hutlet (Brandon), and Kyle Scrivens (Stonewall) have been selected by Hockey Canada to take part in the prestige event being held December 28th to January 4th in Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie.

Hockey Canada selections for the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge are done through a pool of 135 officials from across the country who have attended Officials Program of Excellence (OPOE) Camps within that last three seasons. Officials selections for the upcoming Canada Winter Games will also go through the same process.
