Scrivens selected for World Junior A Challenge
WINNIPEG – One (1) official has been selected to represent Manitoba at the 2017 World Junior A Challenge. The WJAC is executed as part of a partnership between Hockey Canada, the CJHL & the NHL Central Scouting. Two Canadian teams (East & West) and four international squads (Russia, Switzerland, USA & Czech Republic) will be vying for gold December 10-16, 2017 in Truro, N.S.
Selected to attend the 2017 World Junior A Challenge:
Kyle Scrivens (Interlake), Stonewall, – A level VI official, Kyle has experience officiating in Midget AAA, KJHL, MMJHL, MJHL, WHL, USPORTS & SEMHL. Kyle has over 20+ years of officiating experience and has numerous accomplishments throughout his career. He has officiated at the RBC Cup (2011 & 2015), World U17 Hockey Challenge (Bronze medal game – 2011), Western Canada Cup (2014) & at the Allan Cup (Gold medal game – 2016).
