Hockey Manitoba is pleased to announce that two Manitoba officials have been selected to attend the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George, B.C.

Female Competition – February 14 – 20, 2015Kaylah Krieger

Kaylah Krieger (Linesperson), Yellowhead – A level III official, Kaylah has experience in lining all levels of hockey including Women’s CIS and Male Midget AAA. In 2012, Kaylah lined the gold medal game for the Western Shield Championship (Senior Women). In 2012 and 2013, she lined the gold medal games for the Mandi Schwartz Female AAA Tournament and most recently in the spring of 2014 lined the gold medal game for the Hockey Canada Female World Sports School Challenge.


Male Competition – February 22 – March 1, 2015Brett Thiessen

Brett Thiessen (Linesman), Interlake – A level IV official, Brett has experience lining in the MJHL, KJHL, MMJHL and the Midget AAA league. He is a HCOP Instructor and is actively involved in the mentorship program in the Interlake region. In October 2013, Brett was selected to represent Hockey Manitoba at the Western U16 Challenge, where he lined the Bronze Medal game as well. In April 2013, he was selected to line at the Western Canadian Junior B Championship – Keystone Cup. This past September, Brett attended the Officials’ Program of Excellence (OPOE).
