True North Sports & Entertainment in conjunction with Hockey Canada is pleased to welcome the 2011 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge to Manitoba.

The tournament will take place in Winnipeg and Portage La Prairie from December 28, 2010 to January 4, 2011 at the MTS Iceplex, PCU Centre and MTS Centre. The international tournament will feature 10 teams; five regional teams representing Hockey Canada, as well as teams representing the USA, Finland, Germany, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

This world-class event has proven to be a breeding ground for future NHL and Olympic stars such as Jonathan Toews, Alexander Ovechkin, Rick Nash, Mike Richards, Dion Phaneuf, Taylor Hall, and numerous others.

As a previous supporter of Hockey Canada during the 2007 World Women’s Hockey Championship, True North Sports & Entertainment would like to extend a limited time offer of 25% off individual ticket prices for the packages listed below.

The Winnipeg Package includes one exhibition game and 11 round robin games played at the MTS Iceplex, along with the four Medal Games being played at MTS Centre. The Portage La Prairie Package will feature all 13 games being played at the PCU Centre, with the option to add the Medal Round games at MTS Centre Visit for specific game dates and times.
