SELKIRK FISHERMAN WIN KJHL CHAMPIONSHIP

In a 7-0 win against the Arborg Ice Dogs, the Selkirk Fisherman won the Keystone Junior Hockey League title in the fifth game of  their best-of-seven series.

Seven players scored Selkirk’s goals including Devan Lobb, Jon Starodub, Jeremy Pachkowsky, Karl Fey, Jesse Reid-Whyte, Cory Balcaen  and Trevor Paradoski.  Goaltender Jordan Liske recorded his second shutout of the series, stopping only 17 shots.
