Kenneth R. Stiles Memorial Officiating Scholarships
The Hockey Canada Officiating Program is soliciting applications for the Kenneth R. Stiles Memorial Scholarships for 2023.
The Kenneth R. Stiles Memorial Scholarship was established by the Seaman Hotchkiss Hockey Foundation (formerly Project 75) and Hockey Canada in recognition of Kenneth Stiles and his tremendous contribution to grassroots hockey in Canada.
Scholarships are presented in both the men’s and women’s categories. In the men’s stream, applicants must have participated in the Hockey Canada OPOE and/or hold a formal leadership position in a Member or LHA program. In the women’s stream, and female officials must be certified at a minimum of Level 3 and/or hold a formal leadership position in a Member or LHA program.
One change from previous years is that applicants must be enrolled at an approved post-secondary institution in the coming school year (2023-24). Funds will not be disbursed until successful applicants produce a proof of enrollment letter from their institution
The deadline for applications is May 5, 2023 and should be submitted via the online form provided in the application form.
