2025 Women’s U18 POE Top-24 Roster Announced
WINNIPEG, MB – Hockey Manitoba is pleased to release the 2025 Women’s Under-18 Program of Excellence Top – 24 Roster who will participate in a Collaborative Skills Camp on Monday August 11, 2025 (Scotiabank hockey for all centre) as well as an exhibition series against the University of Bisons women’s hockey team from September 5 – 7, 2025 (Wayne Fleming Arena/Scotiabank hockey for all centre).
The Collaborative Skills Camp will be the third phase of Hockey Manitoba’s Women’s U18 Program of Excellence which is designed to provide high performance female players with the opportunity to develop advanced skills as well as an introduction to the concepts needed to play at an elite level. Players from the Program of Excellence go on to play at the U Sport, NCAA and International level.
The Women’s U18 POE Top-24 Roster consists of a total of twenty-four (24) athletes; fourteen (14) forwards, seven (7) defenders, and three (3) goaltenders.
The one-day Collaborative Skills Camp will see athletes participating in position-based skills practices, goalie sessions, and team building exercises. All programming throughout the duration of the camp will be led by the Women’s U18 POE Coaching staff.
The fourth stage of the Women’s U18 POE process will see Team Manitoba compete in an exhibition series against the University of Bisons women’s hockey team from September 5 – 7, 2025 (Wayne Fleming Arena/Scotiabank hockey for all centre).
The coaching staff will then select 20 athletes who will compete at the 2025 National Women’s U18 Championship, which will take place from November 3 – 8, 2025 in Newfoundland & Labrador.
