5 Manitobans listed in NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings for the 2026 NHL Draft

NHL Central Scouting has released its Final Rankings for the 2026 NHL Draft with 5 Manitobans making an appearance.
Cypress River’s Carson Carels (Prince George Cougars, WHL) is the highest ranked Manitoban amongst North American skaters at #3. Carels put up 73 points (20 goals, 53 assists) in 58 games for Prince George, adding 10 points (one goal, nine assists) in 9 playoff games.
The 2026 NHL Draft is scheduled to be held in Buffalo, New York over two days: Friday June 26th and Saturday June 27th.
